Vertical links within the Consortium are assured by an Executive Board (EB) for the coordination of the implementation of the project. A Supervisory Committee (SC) will provide the strategic scientific coordination between the meetings of EB.

Horizontal links between fundamental laboratory science and fieldwork in Africa will be provided by two Clusters. The Coordinator is the leader of EB and SC. External advice and recommendations will be provided to the EB by the members of the Advisory Board (AB) and EB will be reporting to the EC.

The AB will consist of 3 members: 2 experts to be elected by the EB during the start up meeting (TBE) and one expert to be nominated by the EC (TBN).
